BlueNova Energy Setup on Victron ESS :
This guide is not intended to demonstrate the complete Victron ESS setup or VRM Remote Access setup.
1.
There is no need to use the Victron Ve Can Terminator/s, supplied with the CCGX/Venus GX , when connecting a BlueNova Energy battery .
5.
The “Battery Monitor” can either be put on “ BlueNova on CAN-bus “ or left on “ Automatic “ . On “Automatic “ the “ Battery Monitor “ will fallback to the Inverter, as battery monitor, should the CCGX/Venus GX fails.
7.
Incase a Victron Energy Meter is being used in the setup, the option “ Control without grid meter ” must be “ Off “ .
11.
The “ Grid setpoint “ can be adjusted as required, but the “idea” is to have 100 Watt “allowed” from the grid, thereby preventing the ESS to feedback excess power to the grid, when the option not to feed back, is selected. However, some feedback might still happen.
